Neuroimmunology Assays
Esoteric Testing for Key Neuroimmune Biomarkers

Neuroimmunology Assays are for Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures in the US.
BÜHLMANN GanglioCombi® MAG ELISA enables simultaneous detection of anti-Ganglioside (GM1, GT1a, GD1a, GD1b, GQ1b) and anti-MAG antibodies. It includes three enzyme labels (IgG/IgM-Mix, IgG, and IgM) for cost-effective testing: initial screening with IgG/IgM-Mix, followed by separate IgG and IgM re-testing of positives.
The BÜHLMANN anti-MAG Antibodies ELISA test, trusted by many labs as the gold standard, accurately quantifies anti-MAG antibodies with high sensitivity and specificity using purified human brain MAG. It can be used alone or alongside BÜHLMANN GanglioComb® MAG ELISA for antibody confirmation.
Antibodies recognizing MAG target a carbohydrate also found on the acidic lipid sulfoglucuronyl paragloboside (SGPG). Anti-SGPG antibodies have a broader range than anti-MAG antibodies, as some samples positive for anti-SGPG are negative for anti-MAG. Thus, testing for both antibodies is recommended. The BÜHLMANN Anti-SGPG Autoantibodies ELISA is a semi-quantitative assay comparing results to a calibrator.
BÜHLMANN GanglioCombi® Light ELISA combines on one microplate the three most relevant and frequent gangliosides, GD1b, GQ1b and GM1. The kit contains 3 enzyme labels: IgG/IgM-Mix, IgG and IgM.
Anti-GM1 Autoantibodies ELISA allows individual testing of anti-GM1 antibodies of the IgG and/or the IgM isotype. BÜHLMANN Anti-GM1 Autoantibodies ELISA is based on the enzyme-immunometric assay technique.
